Just a little update...

Hi everyone,

Once again I hope you’re enjoying this glorious weather. Can you believe it was the hottest Spring since records began?! I think it’s looking to be a great Summer too. I’ve been enjoying gardening, learning new songs and spending quality time in Wales with my Mum and catching up with old friends.

As I said in my first newsletter, I’ve had new headshots taken by Yellowbelly Photos. I’m really pleased with the outcome and was really taken aback by all the lovely comments I received when I shared them on Facebook & Instagram.

I’m really enjoying my Ivy Club residency, so wonderful to see many familiar faces in the audience, friends from America, Canada, France and all over the UK have come to support. I’m so very grateful. I’ve met some wonderful new friends through the Ivy too - one lovely couple have been to every show so far and brought new friends each time! On to our fifth show on the 28th June. It’s our first Saturday night slot & joining me on piano is the lovely Rob Dowton. It’s our first cabaret together and I’m really looking forward to it. We’ve already had one rehearsal and all we did was laugh! Hope to see you there. As soon as we finalise the date for the July show I’ll be back in touch.

Tickets are now available for my Crazy Coqs show on the 3rd August, ‘A Woman’s Touch’ celebrating my favourite female composers and lyricists. Happily learning quite a few new songs for this one!

I’ll be appearing again at El Piano in Sitges this Summer, August 11th-13th, a fabulous piano musical bar owned by my dear friends Stephen Michael and his husband Björn Rosier. In between serving drinks Stephen accompanies me on piano and I’m hoping Björn will join me onstage too for the odd duet! I’m so excited because joining me there will be many of my nearest and dearest friends, how lucky am I?

I do have some big news to share which I was hoping to in this newsletter but it looks like I’ll have to wait until the next one. All will be revealed soon…
